The PGT will be a part of the Principal’s Team coordinating all the academic activities related to the following;
– Planning, Teaching and Classroom Management
– Monitoring, Assessment, Recording, Reporting
– Curriculum Design and Instruction
– Evaluation of students as per CBSE Norms
– Innovating pedagogies, technical education and evaluation
– Inculcating values and new learning’s during teaching
– To groom the students to become a successful individual
He/She will be responsible to carry out the professional duties of a teacher as circumstances may require and in accordance with the school’s policies under the direction of the reporting authority within the regulations and standards of the CBSE frameworks and academic material provided by School.
Responsibilities and Duties
Math teachers actively instruct students, create lesson plans, assign and correct homework, manage students in the classroom, communicate with parents, and help students prepare for standardized testing. Math teacher job duties can vary significantly between elementary school and higher grade levels. In high schools, for example, math teachers may need to help students prepare for graduation and college entry exams, while in elementary schools the mastery of basic skills is of paramount importance.
Bestowing students with arithmetic and problem-solving skills is one of the many duties of a math teacher. An undergraduate degree is required for most math teaching jobs, as well as certification. However, licensure is mandatory to teach in a public school.
